Description of graphics.

On this site you find the actu graphic art works, eventhough it is often used as a wider label, as well as on this website.

I differentiate between the production methods, eventhough other works of art can be labled grapichs, but sometimes it referes to the look of the image.

In this case the art work have been created with the specifik method of reproduction in mind.

Lino cut.

The lino cuts are created on a piece of linolium by removing areas of the surface, the white areas, while color are then applied to the remaining surface .

The reamining areas of the surface then deposits the color to the paper, here tissue paper.

This print of "the old one talks to the crab", have been created using different plates for each color.

The image of the bullfighter have been created, using the same methods as the image above, using multiple plates for the colors.

This image of three people in moonlight, is created using a metal plate with powder of resin heated and solidified.

Once the resin is solid, the suface have been etch by a corrosive liquid, in the areas that are not covered by resin.

The process of covering and etching the surface can be variated and repeated, until the plates is cleaned and covered in a certain amount of color. The color will set into the ected areas.

The method is called aquatint, here other methods have also been used.

This picture of a small boat in a stormy sea, have been created by scratching directly into to a metalplate.

In and arround the scratches the color will set, the color will later be transfered to a heavy moist piece of paper.

This procedure is called drypoint.

The last two pieces of grapic is a mixture of a number of methods, suchs as drypoint and aquatint.
